I check my LJ everynight, mostly to see if my friends have posted anything.. they haven't much lately. I don't post everyday however, mostly because I only go to work, and I do the same exact things on a daily basis, I've already written about it, its old news.
So Anywho
My plans for walmart salary management are on hold for the near future, I have decided that I need more experience in an hourly management role before moving on. My store manager told me I could do it, but I just don't think I'm ready, and I'm not willing to commit career suicide by getting in over my head.
I'm currently up for 2 different management spots, both hourly, one is Inventory Control Specialist Team Lead. basically I would be in charge of the inventory team, and product flow from the warehouse to the salesfloor. The hours for that are 10am - 7pm, 5 days a week. The other spot is Overnight Support Manager, I've applied for this already, and didn't get it, but there is another spot open as the old support manager Mick stepped down, and went to the maintenace crew. So thats open again, we'll see if I get it, probably not.
So we finally booked a DJ for the wedding. we went with MC DJ's out of grand blanc, the DJ's name is Chris Masters, and hes a radio DJ by day, and a wedding/mobile DJ by night. And we got him for a steal, at $500 for 6 hours... every other DJ we called wouldn't do it for less than $795, so thats cool.
After calling a bunch of DJ's, and hearing their prices... I really want to do some DJing for weddings and stuff... there is soooooo much money in that business.
Me and Meaghn are taking a mini vacation, July 1st, 2nd, and 3rd we're going to Frankenmuth and staying at the Bavarian Inn Lodge, I don't really know what to expect since I've never been there, but I hear its cool, and the food is good. Its going to be cool.
I'm getting a gym membership, I'll be able to workout again, combined with this newer healthy eating thing we've been doing, and the CPAP machine... I hope to be alot healthier in the coming months.
