what to write about.. gosh it's been so long..
Well i did get my wisdom teeth pulled for all of you who havent heard..which im sure most of you did. If not please leave your sympathy.. i could really use it (i am just kidding.. i need no sympathy whatsoever) The operation itself wasnt too bad, well considering i was asleep. But the second and third day were horrendous (is that how you spell that?) I dont mean to scare any of you who are about to have yours pulled..maybe my pain tollerance isnt as high (?) as everyone else. But that good ol' vicodin certainly kicked in and took care of it..so, it's okay. (Im really sorry if i just scared anyone.. =/ )
I also got my license on...June 18th, last saturday. Oh my goodness! what an awesome feeling! FREEDOM..really though, i love driving around. So if anyone wants to hang out, just hit me up.
OH! oh my, i havent even updated about this..shame on me. WEll from June 4th-June 10th i attended MDA for the second year. It was incredible as it was before. I believe it's that type of thing where each time you go, you learn something new each time. Not necessarily knowledge, but...i guess how good we have it. We sit here and complain about our pety problems but honestly..if we had to sit in a wheel chair for the rest of our lives because our muscles were deteriorating..then i think we'd have something to complain about. yet, they still dont complain. Those children have the biggest smiles on their faces and that possibly fatal disease doesnt even phase them. Each year they try to make it one more year, well for those whom are deathly ill, in order to attend a camp where they have the time of their life. I cant even begin to explain the happiness you witness while being there. It's just that i feel so..greedy. I continue to want more but these kids dont have half of what i do. if i had brought my digital camera then i would post these pictures but unfortunately i was too scared that it would somehow break, so i decided to bring 4 throw away cameras. gosh...it's amazing to be able to help them and see what they go through every single day of their lives. There was this one little girl named Kara. It was her first year and she was 6 years old. Absolutely adorable. Her counsler Andrea had sat her on the toilet because kara does not have control over her muscles and bladder and is unable to tell people when she needs to use the restroom (but that's besides the point) Anyway, while she was on the toilet she was reading a book called "the Silly little goose". And a girl named Erica, who was also a counselor and a good friend of mine, read the title of the book to her. So each time Kara turned the page she would mumble and then say aloud "Silly little goose" oh my goodness, it was absolutely adorable! There are so many different stories but that one sticks out the most in my mind.
hmmm..sean and i have become..better friends i suppose. We can at least have a civilized conversation in which we arent at each others throats. Im kind of glad i cut off all communication with him there for a while..it seemed to have made things much easier on the both of us. Apparently he's supposed to stop by tomorrow with popsicles...a new beginning..how exciting
that's all i really have to write about..im sorry if this was a bore to you..but someone requested that i write..so i did..this is to you my dear
