Why I Hate Kris Roe
to fully explain my reasoning of why i hate kris roe..
a. unlike every other band, the ataris make it 100% clear that they are all about their fans. if your gonna be an asshole then don't tell magazines that you play for your fans.
b. he says they reply to all letters. my friend steve wrote a letter to them and never got a response.
c. i saw them play in las vegas with my sister. everyone knows my sister does not enjoy going to shows. she didn't even like the ataris until she heard one of their songs on the radio and it's the same with every other band or singer or rapper she hears. they barely tour ny and i saw them a total of 5 times. i missed them once in the last 4 years.
d. at the free show he looked away during andy, dave, jasons picture and didn't answer their questions when they asked him shit while he was signing their shit.
e. two days after warped tour 2001 i saw them at the wetlands in the city and i went back and asked him to sign something. he signed it but didn't say one word to me... not one word.
f. he was a dick at warped tour 2003.
g. he claimed to always stay on kung fu records but didn't think twice to switch to columbia.
h. marco pina left the band because kris roe was a fag and only cared about money and his reputation.
i. they write amazing songs but that doesn't cover up the fact that he's a dick.. and they don't even put on a good live show. i'd much rather watch taking back Sunday. they used to both be my favorite bands but not it's strictly tbs.
everyone who likes the ataris.. don't meet the band. it's a huge dissappointment. if you like them and you or a friend has talked to him, you'll understand what i'm talking about.
