Things are going reasonably well as we head toward Christmas. I got some gifts from my folks as well as my various uncles, aunts and cousins. Knowing Cousin Larry, his gift will be on the more interesting side of the spectrum.
My parents also invited Mira's dad over to share Christmas dinner with them. It'll be nice for him to not be by himself and I'm sure my dad will enjoy the chance to talk to another engineer. I was always more interested in the rock and Mom just says, "Oh that's nice dear" whenever he starts geeking out about something.
So...general query to the public, how does one go about seeing a shrink? Do we have to make an appointment or something or can we just drop in?
Also, I was thinking about erecting a "Remembrance Tree" in the Officer's Lounge. I have ornaments you can put someone's name on and then hang them on the tree. If anyone's interested, I'll put it up and leave the ornaments there. I'll be putting one up myself in memory of my dead twin brother.
