Work, Dentist, etc - Day 159, Tue July 11, 2006
Ok, work was busy, then off to the dentist for a mid-day teeth cleaning. Except I had a hole in one of my teeth, so it turned into a 90 minute ordeal to both do the cleaning AND patch that hole.
And I need a crown. And have 2 cavities. And need another ancient filling re-done because it looks "suspicious."
Like I've got a criminal living in my mouth. "Suspicious." Hmmm.
Of course, like the dumb@ss that I am, I decided to go back to work. MISTAKE, because once the 3 shots of novacaine wore off, I was pretty sore.
Was just about to scoot out of the building at 6 PM when my Latin American crew finally arrived, and I had to stay. Don't get my wrong, I LOVE my guys down there, but I had plans. I didn't leave until 7:30 PM! But I made it home in just over an hour. That's scary, considering it's 84 miles!
Anyhow, dressed up all "dead girl" and went to Goth Nite with S. Sadly, due to the hasty dinner I scoffed down at 5:30 PM, my tummy was off all night. As soon as I started really working out there (dancing), my belly would knot up. Sigh. I still got about 8 songs in, though. If the songs are 4 minutes each, that's over 30 minutes of cardio. So...not bad.
