Visions for a new society where all people would be finally equal and where the fighting begins

Quote of the Day: February 17, 2007
"I am not advocating the implementation of PETZ, a society for the Protection and Ethical Treatment of Zombies. But perhaps a more complex analysis of the relation between personal identity, mentality and value should at least give us a pause for concern the next time we bash out the brains of a zombie with a cricket bat."

First I would like to say this weeks episode of The OC had many many many zombie references and that was amazing. Now. Onto the regular blurbs.

Shopping Adventures 101: This morning woke up after less than five hours sleep. Discovered there was not enough hot water to have a good bath. This was a bad way to start a morning. But. The day didn't turn out that bad. Drove. Shopped. Found cupcake mix. This was good. I have a wonderful cupcake recipe. Am kicking my 'rents out of the house tomorrow and am baking. But. See. The problem was that I couldn't find the cake mix. It was discovered in Labrador. I managed to find it in Brooks. But in Calgary? That is just too big a job. So the quest for cupcakes began. Started at Liquidation World because when you think of a Bargain Shop replacement in the city, you think Liquidation World. Nothing happened. They had none. Bought some tea instead. Then. Went to Safeway. They had the brand. Didn't have the kind. Then I asked. Suggestions were made and ended up at Southcentre Mall. Found it at the dollar store. Also bought new earrings, because it would seem I lost one last night, and more mugs from the Disney Store. Then came the search for the right icing. Went to Superstore. They had it but they did not have the cleaner my mom told me to pick up. So then it was to Walmart. They didn't have it either. Ass. Shit out of luck. So I gave up. Came home. Had some zombie adventures. Now we are here. Will watch movies. Will eat. Will sleep. And all will be wonderful in the world.

I also love the fact that if you get bored of doing what needs to be done... in Calgary, you can at least drive to the opposite end of the city to have a change of scenery.

Moose Adventures 101: Friday was interesting. Woke up late. Didn't have to be at work until 1. Went into work. Million things to do. Exhausted. Ready to kill someone. Had to take a five minute-shove-as-much-yogurt-down-before-I-kill-someone moment. Also had a blonde moment. Was made fun of. So glad I have a long weekend. We went to the Loose Moose last night. Tried to catch the late night show. Didn't work. There was only six people there. We got reimbursed and passes for a redux. So. We drove. Watched a movie (The Boondock Saints). Then. Got home 3:30 a.m. Then the creepiest thing happened. Walking up my walk. Someone yelled... "Hhhhhiiiiii" really creepy like. It was from the drug house. The hillbillies. At that point I didn't care if I woke the 'rents up. I wanted to get in. Then I watched the last 30 mins of The Faculty that was heavily edited and it pissed me off. Then bed was had.

Yeah. That's my life. Interesting huh?

just life, zombies, thoughts, shopping
