That wasn't the hug I deserved...
So as usual I was dropping Aurora off at class. We decided to stop and get a smoothie beforehand. We sat back down in the car and I decided to wipe off the side of the cup so I wouldn't get smoothie all over myself. That's when Aurora decided to tell me "Hurry up, I have to go to class." And NOT nicely. God, that's the exact sort of stressed out worrying she used to always get on me about. So many days last school year I had to go to class late because of her...sometimes I complained about it, and she always told me I should stop taking my stress out on her. Now all of the sudden she's got a teacher who's dropped a few choice words in class about people showing up late, and she's doing exactly what she told me not to do. Really fair. I'm glad you know how it feels, Aurora. Maybe next time you're making me late to class (or miss a class) you'll think twice...
