too early for me
so this morning at exactly 6:48am joby calls my phone. i dont answer not because im a bitch but because i already know what shes going to say. shes not coming to work today because she feels bad and needs me to go in and open the office in less than an hour. i let her speak to my voicemail while i gathered my clothes for the day. i listened to the message that i knew was coming and got ready. amazingly i left the house at 7:05am and got to work around 7:25am. 5 minutes before i had to open the office. although i see it starting to suck over here very soon because the other person thats supposed to come into the office wont be in until 9:30am. giving me no breaks at all until then since the supervisor is always late and i dont expect her in until 9:30am at least. and the boss if he comes in on time he wont be any help as usual. it seems like before 8am everyone on the road is also sleeping. some bitch infront of me kept hitting her breaks and when i passed by her i swear she was sleeping or it really looked like it. scary! i hate driving so early in the morning even if there is less traffic at that time.
oh and another thing i hate is when a person (secretary apparently) calls the office and then says hold and a second later someone else (a professor) comes on the line and gives me their problem. i think that the damn lazy professor should make their own calls and not just pick up the line when we are on it. its really lame to me, but maybe thats because im not making 40k a year to do nothing.
