I may have mentioned this briefly before, but you really need to know about Fanthropology, and in particular the fanthropology conference that's happening (the subject of that fanthropology post, and you can also check out whoniverse_conf).

I also happened to watch the first episode ever of Rome last night - it seemed a good idea to watch it all over again in a dedicated way. *squee* It really is superior drama.
