She had gone from a lost little girl wandering aimlessly through the world to a person with a purpose. It wasn’t her mission, but she was happy to be a part of it. Was good at it, too. And, she loved it. Coming alive at night, flying across rooftops, beating up criminals, stopping villains, and simply making Gotham a better place. Just thinking about it caused a faint smile to dance across her lips.
She was doing well until he got the best of her. Deathstroke. Slade. His name alone made the anger she harbored boil to the surface, her heart beat faster with hate, and her hands turned to fists, clenching and tightening of their own volition.
Her entire life changed after him and those she once called family, turned their backs, leaving her alone again. Her only solace was that one day, she would get her revenge. One day, he would regret everything he’d done to her.
