Mutterings
Well, the season is over. The final performance was on Sunday afternoon. No more shows for a few months:) Good, I needed the break. I didn't have a 24 hour break from work since April, so I took yesterday (Monday)off. I recovered and cat napped and had a facial. I haven't had one before, and it felt fabulous. Perhaps I will finally get my problematic skin under control. One can hope!
So many wedding happening or coming up fast. Lots of work. One on May 27th, May 28th, July 1st, and those are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head. I compiled my bridal shower invite list last night so my sister can make the invitations and send them out. I also need to get working on a save-the-date card so we can send that out when we return from Cincy this summer.
My brother seems to be on good footing for the first time in years. Perhaps school wasn't for him. He's working full time and being social but not drinking much, and he's slowly working towards quitting smoking. Not too shabby considering where he was a few years ago. Uncle Mark is still a mess, although that's no surprise. Since the divorce he can't seem to get on his feet, but if anyone brooches the subject with him he can't be rational, so we all just gave up. Can't change if you don't want to I guess.
I wish I could go to reunion with Joe in June. No vacation time unfortunately. Sad sad me.
