Migraines love me.

I'm sitting in the computer lab in my apartment complex because our cable internet stopped working Friday. And no, it probably wasn't related to the storms, because the modem stopped working in the morning, when it was still clear and sunny out. Doomsday didn't occur until well into the evening.

I don't like the setup of this room. There are more computers than there are chairs, the keyboards are all at different stages of filthy and disgusting, and they have this air vent thing set up so that it blows cold air directly in my FACE. Not good for the migraine I had earlier today.

Yeah, you read that right. Another migraine. I'm most definitely going to the doctor, because this is getting ridiculous. Today I didn't take either of my prescriptions--I decided to try what one of my docs told me to do last semester and took a double dose of ibuprofen. Even though it took longer to work, I think I like it better 'cause ibuprofen doesn't have the side effects (neck pain and throat swelling) and it also takes care of the back pain I inevitably get from being in bed all day.

I'm keeping a headache log now, so I can show it to the doctor. It's very frustrating, the fact that all this is happening. It's like my body doesn't want me to finish this degree. At this rate, I'll have one week-long migraine when it's time to do my comprehensive exams.

*sigh* On a happy note, check out these friends of mine: Chase Wallace, Drew Holcomb, and Josh Bales.
