Way too busy !!!
It's been a long time since I've written in this thing.
Basic Rundown:
- We found a condo, made an offer on it and it was accepted :) ... We are closing on the 21st of April. Lots of lil things that need to be done when you're buying a place. I'm learning alot and somewhat enjoying it. It sucked constantly finding places you like and getting out bid by other people, but it has been worth the wait. Our new place has alot of potential to be very, very kick ass.
- School is school is school. I'm learning some more important stuff that I will be actually using in my field of study. Other then that, its the same game, no profound words of wisdom. But I have figured out what track I want to pursue and some other certifications that I wish to earn. So in that respect, school is going well and i'm figuring out what i what to do after college.
- Laura and I are great. We're looking at paint combos, possible decor ideas, she's going wedding dress shopping this Weds with her mom, we're both busy. The good thing is that we're happy and it's been fun doing all this work for the wedding/honeymoon/condo/etc. Her job is the only thing that sucks right now. It's pays very well, but with a price of putting up with complete utter morons that don't know the meaning of hard work. Laura, on the other hand, has been raised to work her best at anything she does, so this naturally frustrates the hell out of her when people higher up and lower then her slack off and get away with it. I have been with laura for a LONG time, and she still scares me a lil when she's all pumped up about something... :) I love you sweetie, but you're still a lil crazy at times. Not that i'm sane all the time either, cause i'm not.
- We did nothing or Easter, just slept in and relaxed and that's about it. No eggs or bunnies or chocolate this year. It's kinda sad, but on the other hand... we deserved a day to rest, so it was quite nice to do just that.
- My dad is trying to rent his 4 bed 3 bath house in altamonte. Someone might be interested in it recently, but he's in Vero for the week working on my Gram's house (still tons of damage to be fixed from the hurricanes). So I'm going to have be the "key master" of his house in the event of anyone wanting to take a look at his house. It is a really nice place, I wouldn't mind living there myself, but i'm still too young and poor to afford a place like that and have enough money to put food on the table.
- My sister's baby shower is 4/30 at my dad's house in altamonte (pending someone renting it). I haven't seen her in a few months and i hear that she is looking VERY pregnant. I"m so happy for her and Tyson (her husband). They make a great couple and are sooo happy together. It always makes me smile to know that my baby sister found a great guy and that they will be taking care of each other till they are old and gray.
Aiight, it's now 7 pm and I'm leaving the office.
