at work

So i'm at work, again... bored, again. seems to be a pattern the past month. Actually, it's kinda nice not to have to worry about any deadlines right now. We do know that one of our main buyers is thinking about buying 50 units from us in the near future, which is good... selling is always good. 2 problems with this company, 1) they always buy units with old (really really old) software versions and 2) they want to buy 50 units that we no longer stock regularly, so as of right now we have enough parts to build 1 unit, not 50.

I've bee talking with my boss about taking on some more responsibility at work and he seems excited that I stepped up and asked to help. Hopefully this is goign to lead somewhere with this company. I really enjoy working for this company. It's a small business, I know practically everyone i work with, it has a very laid back atmosphere (eventhough at times it can be very fast paced), and it seems that if i stay here a lil longer and keep working hard that when i graduate, I could be offered a nice starting job.  Either being promoted to a low level manager in production, or maybe I could start doing some text support/QA or other jobs that they need me to do.

Side Note:

My Bday gift has yet to come :(
Laura was going to buy me a suit for our friends wedding thats coming up soon but made a deal.  If I promised to buy a suit for the wedding, she would buy me a total gym, which is something that i've really been wanting for a while now.  Trev and Chris Jordan have one and they love it.  Plus i've been on Trev's a few times, tried it out and that's what got me.  It really seems to get my heart going fairly quickly (plus i'm out of shape).  I can't wait till I get it.

End Side Note:

So hopefully, if all goes well with work, I might have a pretty secure job right after I graduate in December.  The main reason I would like a job at GTA (global technology associates not grand theft auto) is that it's local, the owner pays well, and it be a nice low key job that I can do easily while I search for the company i wish to pursue a career with.

Side Note:

Crazy buffet - it's crazy good.  Actually it was just good.  The place looks really cool and there is a ton of food.  It's past the 436/434 intersection, but worth the drive.
and i'm never going to a buffet with tollie ever again, man that boy needs to  get control over his bowels.

I'm OUT!!!!
