Business is about to pick up v.2
I am so fucking stoked. BTHOW(my band) has just appointed 2 dates in May for recording at Simplekill Studios. We're hoping to get about 3-5 songs done. Realistically looking at a solid 3 though. Hell, I'd be content with just one song. For, in my experiences, 'tis better to have one SOLID, KICK ASS song: Rather than 3-5 mediocre ones. Also, we're playing May 20th at the Revolution in Ft. Lauderdale. Yeah, you heard right. Fucking Revolution! That place is massive. And there will also be a buncha record execs there as well, rumor has it. So let's all keep our fingers crossed on that one. I am loving the direction that BTHOW is going. We're becoming a lot more structured, and pretty much abandoning the grindcore aspect of things. Now, 'tis a little more on the progressive side. But no worries. We've still got the brutality of Death Metal. And our breakdowns are no longer hardcore. They're just "eat your fucking face" type breaks now. I am looking forward to presenting this to all of you in due time. Btw, I'm MADLY crushing Mel. But she is taken. But she has feelings for me. Idk. Complicated. So, I suppose I shall seek interest elsewhere? Nah. I'll wait. The relationship doesn't seem to be going too well either way. And no, I didn't put a hand in that. I am not a homewrecker! I asked her about the situation, and her response was "Please don't wait. It'll make me feel terrible. When it happens, it happens." She said when, not if. That makes a BIG difference. Alas, I AM single. So I should have fun while I still can! ;]
