This whole chapter was great. You could start seeing the cracks in both their armor when it comes to one another. I really like how you are having it be Pepper who keeps pulling away and Tony who wants to be more. I am looking forward to the next chapter :D

I love how Tony is slipping (he totally would be the one to do it first, I firmly believe that) and Pepper is trying to hang on.

Pep, it's not going to work. Best to let go now and reap the benefits.
