i check/dbl check national news with CNN
i check local news with the nytimes
and i double check local events with nyc indymedia

and the rest is just word of mouth!

yeah man, i don't even know about peru. there's nothing in the Post about it and i pretty much just read the post because i don't really know of other good sources for news. (any suggestions for me and small sails ( ... )

yeah, i don't think obama is doing the worst job -- it's just hard to see a community organizer (i mean, that's what i try to do) get so caught up in the system and make so many compromises. it's a fault of the system, but not necessarily him. regarding iran -- it's tricky, because i want him to take a really strong moral stand, but perhaps that's only because i expect that from a president after coming to political age during the bush regime. that's a problem.

check the above post about news!
also, i'm staying in NYC for a while -- going to columbia in the fall. after that -- who knows? pittsburgh? west coast? farm upstate? back to virginia? i have no idea.
