Update On My Life - Like You Care

Apr 20, 2009 21:24

Well, I haven't posted since Friday, so I guess I have some things to tell you.

So, nothing really fascinating happened on Friday, all I did was go to school. But on Saturday, I had a busy day.

We went to the city for the day. I know, for most of you this is a typical thing, but I live in the more-or-less country, and we only ever go to the city on weekends, and sometimes every other weekend. Anyways, we were going there first to see if our new trailer was ready yet (it wasn't, but it will be ready by Wednesday). Then mom and dad decided that we would go to visit the owner of the campground that we go to, and see if we are going to get a seasonal spot or not. The guy didn't say yes, but he also didn't say no, so we're still hoping!

Next, we went back to the city, went to Pizza Hut to eat, then went to see "17 Again". It was my choice because it was my birthday the other day, and it counted as my "birthday party". It took me forever to decide between "17 Again" and the Hannah Montana movie, but I finally decided on "17 Again" because I didn't think that dad would like the Hannah Montana movie all that much. "17 Again" was really good! It was pretty funny, and I loved the best friend, he did some really crazy things! And, of course, Zac Efron was as hot as usual. ;p

After the movie, my parents dropped me off at Chapters, and they went to Zellers. I only bought two books, mostly because I wanted to save a lot of my money for "The Awakening" (The Darkest Powers book one, by Kelley Armstrong) and "Blood Promise" (by Richelle Mead) along with a few other books that I can't wait to own, but are not out yet. Plus, I'm trying to save up for a laptop. (That'll take a while!) The two books I did buy were "The Summoning" by Kelley Armstrong (I've already read it, but I got it from the library, and it was so good that I decided I needed to own it,) and "MAX" by James Patterson. Loved it! I'm not going to say anything about either books, because I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't read the books before, but I've just got to say that they both are definitely worth reading over and over again! :)

Nothing much else happened that day other than a trip to DQ and a lot of text messages between me and J ! :) I think I'm really beginning to like him! <3 But I'm still not sure if he likes me as a friend, a little more than a friend. or a lot more than a friend, so I haven't said anything to anyone about liking him yet. (Other than to you guys, of course.)

On Sunday, I became a redhead. Well, an auburn-head. Whatever. This was the first time I dyed my hair (I've only ever streaked it before), and I was kinda nervous that my mom would ruin it! :s But it turned out pretty good. Everyone commented on it today, even people that I don't really talk to, which was nice!

Today was J's birthday, but other than saying "Happy Birthday" and telling him "See? My hair isn't purple!" I didn't talk to him all that much.  (About the purple thing. Long story behind that one. The short story is that, before I dyed my hair, we were texting, and I said that I had to go soon cause I was gonna dye my hair. And he was like "What color, purple?" and I was like, "Noo, auburn." And he didn't know what color that was, so he said "What color's that? Purple?" and so on).

Nothing else to report, and nothing really new about the whole KW, MC, CC thing. Well, CC's possibly coming to our school dance on the 30th, but his mom still has to say yes, and apparently, she's a bit of a bitch. Lol.

Well, I've got science homework, so I gotta go.
