...for all of the posts on the 15th, but I was anxious for chapter 12 of Dangerous and was getting somewhat... cranky... because I had to wait so long. But, whatever. The chapter was well worth the longer than usual wait. :) *Kelley is the best!* :D
Anyways, nothing special happened today. My sister went to the city with her boyfriend today, so God knows what she's gonna end up coming home with. Probably tons of new clothes and jewelry and whatnot. That girl does not know how to save her money. So she's always broke. And then she complains that I have more money than she does. Well, duh! It's because I know how to save my money...as long as I'm not in a bookstore that is.
Well, anyways, she was gone before I even woke up this morning. (Well, actually, if I was being truthful, I'd have to say this afternoon. Good thing I'm not being truthful! ;P) So pretty much all I did today was watch TV. I watched reruns of What Not To Wear and A Baby Story on TLC. I watched approx. 3 hours of the Family Channel, and a movie (John Tucker Must Die). I pigged out on pizza, Pop-Tarts, and Pepsi, and I was bored. And, of course, I read. :) The book I'm reading right now (well, one of the books that I'm reading right now) is called Strange Angels, and it's by Lili St. Crow. She's also wrote the Dante Valentine series (among others), but she went by Lilith Saintcrow then. I'm not sure why she changed her name, but whatever. Her books still rock! :)
Strange Angels is really good, just as I knew it would be when I read the summery. Here it is for anyone who's interested:
"Dru Anderson has been “strange” for as long as she can remember. She travels from town to town with her father, hunting the things that go bump in the night and eat the unwary. It’s a weird life, but a good one-until it all explodes and a zombie busts into her new house.
Alone, terrified, and trapped in an icy town, Dru’s going to need every inch of her wit and training to stay alive. Can she trust the boy who is just a little too adult-and just happens to get bit by a werwulf? Or the strange blue-eyed boy who tells her she’s heir to a long-forgotten power? Can she even trust her own instincts?
Because Dru is not the first in her family to be killed by the darkness of the Real World. The monsters have decided to hunt back-and now Dru has to figure out who to trust, who to fight, and when to run. And not incidentally, she has to figure out how she’s going to get out of this alive.
And she has to do it by sundown, or it’s all over…"
Sound good? It is. Well, so far anyways. I'm only about halfway through it, but, so far, I love it! And it just keeps getting more and more exciting.
Well, I'm gonna go. I wanna check and see if I can find a website that will let me watch the new Harry Potter movie (and did you hear? Apparently J.K. Rowling's writing a new book.. Hmmm, hope it's good!) or My Sister's Keeper. (Has anyone seen that one yet? Is it any good, or did they completely ruin it?)
