Niihama + kids

I've been in Niihama for a month now. I've got less than 2 weeks left here. Next weekend I'm going to meet my cousins in Hiroshima, and I'm seriously excited! But I'm also sad that I have to leave. This town has been a great place for me to center myself and be alone. I forgot how much I really enjoy being alone.

Although I haven't been that alone actually. This weekend a friend that I made here, Stephanie, came over and we had a Dexter marathon, saw Dark Knight, and generally lounged around in semi-darkness. She's freaking awesome and I wished she lived in Tokyo. All my friends there would love* her.

*read==friendship ;)

In addition to my next career (see previous posts about NPO), I want to join Big Brothers Big Sisters of America when I go back. I realized recently that I really like kids and I'm pretty good with them sometimes. This is mainly from teaching them, but learning to like them was largely because of Greg. He's amazing with kids and seeing how much he likes them and how much they like him really inspired me. It's because of this that I know now that I want to have kids someday. And also that I want to be a Big Sister, to start.
