(no subject)
I ended up with four loads of laundry to take care of today. One to dry and fold, one made up of kitten pee sheets, another was a kitten pee comforter, and the last was an extra load of miscellaneous clothing that somehow added up to an extra load.
Late afternoon, I discovered that I did not have lasagna pasta in the pantry, which put a crimp in the lasagna making plans I had for supper. I left the kids with Victoria, and went to Safeway. The ice making machine in our refrigerator was broken, so this was an excuse to get some ice as well.
I was due 80 cents change but the change machine gave me more than that. I went back to the cashier and told her that their change machine had gone crazy. She said that there was a pen in the cup where the coins land and that must have done something to cause it to malfunction. I didn't understand, but I gave her the extra change. When I got to my car, I saw that someone had dropped their Safeway Club card. I took it back into the store and left it with the lady at Customer Service. I hope that those two acts balance out the act of the person that took my checkbook to the bank when I dropped it earlier.
I made the lasagna, and still have the dishes to clean.
After I put Amanda in the bath, I discovered that Max had now pooped on the clean comforter. I picked that up with a tissue. When I removed the comforter to wash it, I discovered that he had also peed on the bed again too. I may cut his balls off myself. Forget waiting for the 16th.
Now the sheets are in the washer, and the comforter is waiting it's turn.
He has his own litter box and the big cats have theirs as well. He uses both of them. I clean them every night (another thing on my do-before-going-to-bed list).
I am going to get Amanda out of the bath, put on her PJs and read her a couple stories. Then I tackle the to-do list.
I have many miles to go before I sleep.
