Dark Night
Passion was gone. His life was gone. One hideous stroke of Gisborne’s sword had erased everything he was, everything he could have been. Robin’s eyes were as black as the waters of the channel. He acknowledged no one, just stared straight ahead. He crushed any thought of what once had been his gang. There was no gang. He would no longer think of them that way. He was alone, on a path that would drag him as close to the fires of hell as he’d ever been. The night was dark, but not so dark as the revenge that filled his soul.
