Oh, I eat so well when Ricky's not here.
A frozen burrito, some chips and salsa, and a ham sandwich for supper. Guess who couldn't decide what to have? LOL
Went to the cemetary with dad this afternoon after work and filled in granny's grave where it needed it. We had a lot of rain over the past few days, so the corners needed filling where the dirt had compacted. Walked around and visited some of my relatives graves, and then dad drove me out to where our house used to be.
See, granny and my family lived on property that the government "bought" (more like "sell us your land or we WILL kick you off and you will have nowhere to go) when I was about 10. This was after our trailer fire and us moving away, but my granny still lived there and we went over every Sunday to visit. The government decided that a new highway needed to go through our property. I just never realized how close. Our house used to sit RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE of the new highway. SO very, very sad that some of my fondest childhood memories are ran over in asphalt now. I used to ride my big wheel there. I played hide and seek there. My swingset used to sit RIGHT WHERE THE FREAKING ROAD IS. :(
