What do you want to be when you grow up?

A few nights ago a friend of mine asked me this question and even before he did, I've been asking myself that question for years.

What do I want to be when I grow up?

Last night another friend reacted (perhaps a little negatively) to the amount of work I'm doing at the Hypndrome for the amount of pay, instead of focusing on the Hypndrome she asked about the classes I'm taking at Laney College "these classes for the building maintenance deal -- what about the job to you like?" before I could answer something distracted everyone, but I still thought about the question.

I don't like the classes I'm taking.
And so far there is nothing I like about the field.

I like helping people.
I like the paper work.
I don't like fucking up.
I don't like people being mad at me.
I like everyone liking me.

I want to help.
I also like being around creative and smart people.
Theatre and Stage Management covers alot of those points.

I do mess up. More then I would like to -- I would like to be perfect.
Defining perfect though is hard.

Probably best not to think too far ahead of myself and trust that things will come along and that I will one day turn around and be something -- as well as grown up.
