Well, things very quiet at the moment with no rehearsals, and no decision on the next play from either company I'm involved with. Not many trips out and about, though I did go to see my friend Brian's new baby boy last weekend - Thomas.
Only a few months to go before my sister-in-law Ruth has her baby (due August 3rd) so am looking forward to that. Apparently the scans say it's a girl. And, as Alan's my only brother and Ruth's an only child, I'll be the baby's only uncle. So, big responsibility!
Lots of telly watching - "Lost" and "Heroes" are both gripping at the moment. And tonight's "Emmerdale" was superb - the only soap I continue to watch these days, and I can't wait for the hour long special tomorrow when it's finally, finally revealed who killed Tom King.
Some decent comedies about. Despite its poor reviews I'm enjoying "Roman's Empire" - very quirky, but with some nice performances, and a very engaging actress called Montserrat Lombard (who is new to me but Flipster might know her from "Love Soup").
Plus, if you haven't seen it, it's well worth giving the brilliant "Gavin and Stacey" a go. The third episode is viewable now at
