Sketchbook Project: Today's Illustration
Current NaNoWriMo word count: 22,396 words, middle of Chapter 8.
After writing, I went downstairs to watch the new Clash of the Titans with the family. We rented it. I have to admit, the CGI is gorgeous. The story... well... er... it sort of put Greek mythology in a blender with a whole lot of other things including cheesy old Westerns, so that got a bit strange. But it had the most beautiful Medusa sequence I have ever, ever seen. It was worth the rental just for Medusa and Pegasus.
Today's sketch came a little closer to at least preliminary sketching for real illustration. Bit of a surprise since I thought I'd be continuing the "comics" style, but there you go. Pigma Micron pen on Moleskine Cahier sketchbook.
