and
Two more Pitt pen bookmarks to send out with art that sells on eBay, this is going to be great for my practice in doing the Four Gentlemen strokes...
And two new ACEOs both listed already on eBay:
and
ACEO Fall Landscape and
ACEO Spectrum Radiance Knotwork.
I did the Prismacolor landscape entirely using the original 12 colors in my 12 color Portfolio set, thus justifying that particular ebay bargain, and I used the Prismacolor Premier FineLine marker violet for the lines on the knotwork, then did the radiance with Pitt pens. I'm not doing prints of the knotwork one because it's faded in the scan -- the original has solid brilliant lemon yellow bridging the yellow-green and the light orange.
For some reason despite being very fond of Santa and holiday stuff, I haven't done many this year. I can't quite figure why, it's just that my imagination's roaming all over the place. But it feels very, very good to have new art to post on eBay and so far, each of the pieces I've posted with knotwork have sold. One got bid up too.
Oh, I did this one too, my fifth swap card. I had four unsold scratchboard ACEOs to put into the swap and increase my collection, but I signed up five times. A friend from eBay turned out to also be a friend from the SCA and we've been corresponding heavily, this is the lady I sent the blue asters bookmark to. She bought the frost knotwork card and wanted the frost peacock card that sold to someone else, so, I combined knotwork and peacocks and sent her this for my fifth Frost Swap Card:
ACEO Peacock Lovers is not going up for sale on eBay, so, she'll get to be the first to post it in the eBay groups as one from her collection. But no reason I couldn't post here, I'm durn proud of this one!
Yeah. Three ACEOs and two bookmarks. Tonight Lisa was here for our art jam and she did three cards for her tarot deck in progress, bringing her current count to 40 cards out of 78. Her deck is ACEO size and started as her just doing mystical, spiritual themed ACEOs... and then we started realizing they were Tarot cards, every one, and she decided to do the deck. I think it's coming out spectacular and hope she can publish it.
