So the other day in class, the teacher handed us these little photos clipped from newspapers.  She asked us to write a small news article (German, of course) to go with the picture.  I received a picture of two polar bears, rubbing their heads together in a husband-and-wife sort of way.  Here's what I wrote.

So, it's been a long time since I've run D&D.  This is partly due to a lack of players, partly due to a lack of interest (I like Exalted better), and partly due to the fact that I'm sort of outdated - I picked up a decent chunk of 3.0 books and then never upgraded.

So I got to play paintball today, and it was awesome.

I played for about four hours straight, along with some of the other more hardcore players.  The first and second matches were set in a sort of urban jungle, with lots of abandoned-building type places and tons of cover.  We had high ground the first time, and I pretty much played it solo.  I ( Read more... )

About two weeks after I arrived, I had found out that my Hausmutter (I'm going to call her FG from here on out) had Wireless.  I went to her and asked if I could use her internet.  She asked how much I would do so, and I said, "lots."  She said that she needed her computer for work, so I was disappointed but left.
