Over the past few years, I've become increasingly sensitive to perfumes and other aromas. It started with pollen allergies. After a while, all floral scents smelled the same: cloyingly obnoxious. Even synthetic floral scents in perfumes will trigger a response similar to a pollen response, even there's no pollen in it. Between spring flowers and horny trees, the pollen count has been rather high the past week. On top of that, this afternoon I was smothered by the competing perfumes of two cow-irkers. It was so bad, I had to take a couple hits of albuterol, one of the few times I've had to do that since having it prescribed.
