Piping update
What with all the respiratory problems I've had recently, I was sceptical about going to Pipe Band practice tonight. But at 6:30 I was breathing normally, so I decided to go.
I managed to play from 7:10 until about 7:50. Then, my left arm (the one that squeezes the bag), my lips, my breathing, and my finger dexterity all gave up at once, in the middle of a song. I apologized to everyone, packed up my pipes and came home.
I've decided that I will also be discontinuing my private lessons for the foreseeable future. I'm not getting enough practice time in to bother wasting Charles' time.
My body is quite thoroughly going to hell in a handbasket.
