IS IT OCTOBER YET?!

Holy. Crap.

No, seriously, holy crap! I love Supernatural, and you know why? It's because seven seasons in, they still find ways to make me flail and go crazy and HOLY CRAP, what even? They made that ending BEFORE they knew they'd be renewed? I mean, I know it was as close to a sure thing as they've ever had, but still... WHAT IF? What if they hadn't been renewed?

I'll tell you what would have happened: fangirls and fanboys alike would have rebelled; the internet would have collapsed under the weight of their rage and despair; and shortly after it, the world would have followed.

But seriously, that finale blew me away. From the beginning, where Crowley and Dick were doing their own special version of a mating dance, to the end, with Sam alone, Meg apparently Crowley's prisoner, and Dean and Cas in goddamn PURGATORY!

Highlights:

- The aforementioned lawyer flirting done by Crowley and Dick (don't look at me like that; you know you were thinking the same thing).

- Meg showing up on the Winchesters' doorstep to transfer custody of Castiel to them.

- Meg in general. I've said it to rosiethemoogle before, but I love that after all this time making their life hell, Meg has actually jumepd ship and joined Team Free Will. Plus, I love Rachel Miner's portrayal of Meg. Sure, nothing'll ever come close to Meg Original (ah, Nicki Aycox...), but still, I've liked this version of Meg just as much ever since she appeared in season five.

- Castiel in general. Is it wrong that I love this new, loopy Castiel even more than Godstiel and original recipe Castiel?

- Baby is back! If you watched it, you know exactly what I'm talking about.

- Did I mention Dean and Castiel got blasted to PURGATORY?!

In short: is it October yet?!

fandom: supernatural, i'd like my soul back please, my fanboy is showing
