Moose, Bras, Subway, etc
In the last week I have seen 5 moose. I saw one last Sunday and 4 on Thursday. My Dad also seen another 3 on Sunday. That's a lot of moose. 6 moose were introduced to the province over 100 years ago and now I'd put the population on par with the human population. 22,000 moose hunting licenses are issued each year and almost every day for the past two weeks I've heard about a moose/vehicle accident. They are dangerous creatures.
Thursday while I was in town I did a little shoppin. I also got a Costco card! Wheee things in bulk! Dad took us to the mall so Mom and I could look for bras and stuff. It seems like everytime I go shopping I become more unimpressed with businesses. While we were at La Senza none of the employees took the time to help us, they just stood around chatting. One woman came over to ask mom what size she was looking for. Mom told her and we never seen the woman after, so we left. We made our way to Silk and Satin where one of the employees was SITTING ON THE COUNTER. How do these people get jobs? It just baffles me. If you don't want a job, go the hell home and open up the position for someone who acually wants to work. It is disgusting. Who do you go to to complain? If I'm going to spend my money that I worked hard for, I'd expect people to work to get it from me. Fuckers.
Also on my current hate list is every Subway everywhere. Whenever I go to Subway they have ONE person working. ONE. Not only does that break some labour laws its just not condusive to getting delicious sandwiches in my belly. We waited 20 minutes for Mom to get a sandwich at Kelsey Drive for my youngest sister waiting at home. If we didn't waste those 20 minutes we could have been on the way home earlier and avoided the maggoty moose situation.
I'm heading to town again tomorrow, I think, and I am not getting my hopes up for decent service anywhere.
