I got back from LA last Wednesday, and I had an awesome time while I was out there, thanks mostly to
theninthdoctor, who despite having deadlines for various things, went to great lengths to entertain me, and put me up (and put up with me) for a week. I'll go more into the incredible time I had later when I post some pictures, but suffice to saw, LA is a fun place, and I'm glad to have so many friends out there.
However, after returning, I've decided I need to do more exciting things while in DC. And by exciting, I mean I should spend less time watching tv and on the internet this summer. So if anyone has suggestions on things to do in the area to break out of my rut, let me know. Please avoid the vague "Go to the museum." Say which one, or which exhibits or somethings.
Things I'm planning to do:
- Go to Artomatic.
- Actually go to Screen on the Green this year.
- Use the grill at my complex
- Go to the DC Improv
I'm open to suggestions. Help me be rutless! :-)
This weekend I helped a friend move, and had an awesome time at Karen and John's. Ziti was had, rock band was played, and the game of things was laughed at. I got to see many friends who I hadnt seen since before I went to LA, and it was nice to see them again.
