Seamus was supposed to be on-call and available tonight in case anything came up at work, but he was bored. He couldn't quite get used to the whole on-call thing, really -- the being 'at work', when you were technically off the clock. It seemed to him that he ought to at least be doing something other than reading a magazine on his bed and trying not to feel restless about life in general.
He glanced at the clock, figuring that his mates were probably out with their girlfriends or something. Didn't mean he couldn't go find something to do, though. Not that he should be thinking about going out when he was sort of on-call, but as far as he was concerned, the line between his time and the Ministry's time was a bit blurry in this case.
Making up his mind, he grabbed some money and his wand and headed out, wondering if Vati was doing anything. It was always risky to assume, in his experience, whether or not a girl had plans; even a friend-girl. It was usually better to plan these things out beforehand. But what the hell; he was already taking one risk tonight. The most she could do was chuck him out and finish washing her hair or whatever.
Chuckling, he popped over to Vinewood Avenue and knocked on her door.
