Yesterday afternoon out with Hannah had been good, but Alicia went straight home from work today. She didn't want to get into the habit of too many pints after work, even thought after about eight hours with those kids it could be easy to get into that habit.
She sat with her parchment out on the sofa, instead, having decided it was time to owl her friends and try to make plans. She found herself missing them quite a bit- and some of them lived within walking distance. She wasn't a very good friend lately. Sighing to herself, Alicia picked up her pen, and started to write to Ang. What came out was a bit different than she'd thought, but she realized she was craving some down time with someone that she could just relax around.
Hey Ang,
Haven't seen your pretty face in too long. Are you busy at the moment? I'll start cooking up the one meal I know how to cook and open a bottle of wine if you're free.
