Lisa was feeling very restless by the time she got home from work. Even in the sanctuary of her room, she couldn't seem to settle down. It wasn't until her hand went to the
History of Magic text on her shelf that she realised her restlessness was even related to anything in particular. She needed to get her mind elsewhere, to be absorbed in the good things in life rather than wanting to dwell.
Sitting down on her bed, she pulled out the
book Terry had bought for her as the final piece of her birthday present and began flipping through it. Lisa smiled, remembering different pieces and how they'd chatted about them. That had been a great night, one of many great nights, really, and it was good to focus on those memories. For a brief moment she thought about popping in to visit Terry, but she thought she remembered him mentioning other plans in passing to someone at work today.
She flipped another page, and a small card fell out onto the bed.
Hadn't Angelina mentioned something at the party about needing artwork for her flat? Grinning, Lisa pulled out a piece of parchment.
Ang,
Hi! Came across this by chance...have any free time on your hands tonight?
Lisa
