Pansy had just left Aunt Matilda and Oren, and was on her way back to her flat to get ready for this evening. Having Neville over wasn't a big deal, really, but she still wanted to clean up and bit and make sure things were looking their best. She was exhausted, though, and thought a nap might be in order first.
Things were still impossibly difficult with Oren. Pansy knew it wouldn't get better anytime soon, but his attitude continued to upset her. There were times when, as any eleven year old would be, he seemed fine and was distracted by whatever it was occupying his attention. The rest of the time, though, he was despondent, not wiling to even come out of his room. He had taken a liking to some of the books she'd brought him recently- mainly ones about Muggle transportation and sports. He wasn't a real 'boys boy' in Pansy's mind, but he seemed fascinated with automobiles and airplanes, specifically. He said it was almost like a broom, only cooler because you could take more than one person with you. Pansy had been delighted to find something that interested him, and felt momentarily lighter because of it.
It was too bad he wasn't younger, she thought as she walked with her head down towards Hornbeam court. If he'd been young, he'd not know as much about the Wizarding world and the transition might have been easier. She knew it was almost time to approach TAMED, but she wasn't quite ready to expose Oren just yet. Soon, but until then, she planned to try and enjoy being 19 as much as she could.
Not paying attention, Pansy ran right into the back of someone solid, finding herself flat on her bottom. Groaning, she started gathering her belongings before realizing the person she'd crashed into was standing above her still. "Sorry. Oh! Seamus, hi."
