Katie looked around the flat. It was small, smaller than Al's, but not as tiny as some of the others she'd been through. She'd be just down the street from Al, Ollie, Roger and Wayne and not too far from Dean. It would be easier for work to live in Diagon Alley, but the flats there were too expensive or the size of shoe boxes. No, this would do nicely. She could squeeze a tiny table in the living room for dining and such, and put her punching bags in the bedroom. There really wasn't anywhere else for them to go. She didn't want to give up the beautiful gym that Wayne had built for her, but she wanted her own place. And she could get Wayne to help her arrange things so it wasn't too crowded.
After she'd paid the deposit and signed the lease, she went back to her house and sent owls to her parents, Dean and Alicia to tell them about her new flat.
