RP: Fun and Games

Dean watched in amusement as Katie pulled out an old game box and began reverently placing all of the parts on the table. She was so excited about playing that it was adorable. But they'd both spent all day revising--separately, as otherwise they probably wouldn't have gotten nearly as much done--and this was a well-deserved reward for all their hard work. He'd been pleasantly surprised to receive her owl inviting him over. He knew they were both busy, but it still seemed like far too long since he'd seen her.
He speared another piece of meat and chewed it slowly, enjoying the flavour. Truthfully, he was starting to get a little full, but he couldn't stand to leave a single bite behind. The steak and potatoes they'd made for dinner was easily the best thing they'd cooked together so far. Then again, it was also probably the easiest, so he decided to not mention that part. "Your food is going to get cold."
