It had been an extremely busy week for Fleur. The meetings with The Morgana for her fund raising event had gone smoothly. Negotiations with the owners of the building where she had her office to purchase it outright were going well. The couple was a little reluctant to part with the property knowing that Diagon Alley would recover but they also knew that having it still sitting mostly vacant now was not helping their bottom line either. That they genuinely liked Fleur and supported what Magical Equality was trying to helped tremendously. They were still business people who wanted a good return on their investment. Fleur had sweetened the deal by offering to use their son, who did magical construction and shop fitting, for the Cultural Centre and any office refurbishment. She had intended to seek him out anyway, as he had done nice work on the fireplace in her office when she first moved into the building. She was sure that by the end of the month they would have something worked out. If not, they were able to come to an agreement to let the space. Fleur was happy with that. It was only that for the long term, purchase was more economical, and she was very miserly with her agencies funds. If she could buy the building for a good price, she would be positively delighted.
The downside to having had such a full week was that she was behind on many of the things she liked to do for her home and husband. Fleur enjoyed taking care of both house and spouse with little attentions that were not necessary but that she knew put smiles on Bill's face and added to her own enjoyment of her cottage. Small things mattered to Fleur. She also needed more Floo Powder for the office. Fleur did not especially care for the Floo herself but many of her volunteers used it exclusively for travel.
Her volunteer that coordinated the Hogwarts home visits had everything arranged so that Fleur was not needed to help with the transportation for students home visits, Fleur decided she would get her shopping out of the way this morning, starting in Hogsmeade. She preferred the dairy products there over the ones in the magical sections of Falmouth and Tinsworth, even if the other magical communities were closer to Shell Cottage.
