Changing quickly into lounge clothes, which included cotton pants and a long sleeve fitted shirt, Pansy set herself up on the couch with her books, a blanket and a cup of tea. Piling her hair on top of her head and securing it with a quill (something her mother found extremely plebeian) she worked for a half hour before hearing the door. She hadn't seen her roommates yet today, so she assumed no one was calling on them. Kicking off the blanket, Pansy moved quickly to the door, surprised and pleased to see Neville smiling on the other side.
"Hello good Knight," she smiled brightly. "Is this my rescue from the confines of revision?" she asked as she stepped to the side to let him in. It was freezing, and she didn't fancy letting the warm air out of the house.

"Women are the true hero's you know," she said taking the measuring cup from him. After filling it, she passed it back and smiled. Giggling, she moved towards him and brushed his forehead with the back of her hand.
"The noble Gryffindor has flour on his head," she said, instantly regretting being so forward as to wipe it herself. She stepped back quickly, her cheeks feeling warm. "Sorry. I got carried away with the role reversal," she said with a wink.

"As Gran's told me. Repeatedly," he grinned. She handed him the measuring cup and just as he was about to thank her, she stepped up close and...

"It's okay, Pansy. You just surprised me. Is it all ( ... )

He cleaned up the kitchen. Neville was getting pretty good with the household spells now and it didn't take long. He took the clean plate and bowl from the drainer and dried them off. Neville slid a slice of pizza onto the plate, then scooped out a serving of cobbler. He put them both in a basket he used for flowers sometimes and cast spells to keep it all warm. Dean's owl looked at him oddly when he told him where he was going, but the bird took the food anyway.
Pansy,
Take a break and eat. Even princesses need nourishment.

Merlin, she was in trouble. Not all boys could be this nice, could they? Clearly he was the exception to everything she had ever heard. Taking a deep breath, she gave the owl another quick pet and scribbled a reply.
Neville,
The food was a delicious and a much needed break. I will have to repay you soon; a Princess must reward the knight, after all. You are truly a gentleman and an amazing man. I look forward to seeing you soon.
