Oliver fought with wanting to go visit Alicia for most of the day Saturday before he finally decided to go visit his parents to remove the temptation. Thankfully, his mum left him alone about the date for the most part, only asking brief questions at random times.
He resisted the urge again on Sunday evening to go see her, and promised himself he'd owl her on Monday; the last thing he needed was to appear too eager. He thought about her all weekend, and found himself more nervous than he had been in years- he didn't want to get his hopes up, though, so he did his best to stay busy.
On his way to work, he passed a market where large sunflowers caught his eye. On a whim, he purchased them and sent them off with a note to Alicia at work. Hoping it hadn't been too forward, he started another report, desperate to keep his mind busy.
