Summary: After Herbology, Lavender has more than just a dizzy spell.

Lavender had dragged herself out of bed late this morning. She had been awake for hours, but it was often easier to stay in bed when she didn't have a class. At least when she was in bed there wasn't anyone around to pester her about food or indulge in puerile canine taunts.
It was safe in bed.
By the time she got dressed, Lavender told herself it was too late in the day for a proper breakfast, so she had gone up to Hogwarts and immersed herself in the library for a couple of hours before Herbology.
Lavender felt too hot all through the lesson, wondering if it were just the greenhouse or if it were just her. Even popping outside a couple of times during the lesson hadn't helped her waning concentration at all, her vision even blurring a little at times. She was just tired, she told herself. She needed to go back to bed.
When Professor Sprout bustled off to the staffroom after the lesson, Lavender took her time to pack up her things. She wondered if maybe she should go to the Three Broomsticks for dinner. At least if she was paying for her dinner she might be more inclined to eat it. She reached for her gloves but missed, everything going black as she fainted, hitting her head on the leg of the table as she fell to the ground.
