Fridays without Prep kids were nice. There was sleeping in, a morning shag if Fleur was agreeable, a visit to Greystone, and a lazy day until Hogwarts called. Today hadn't been that lazy, mostly because Bill had got a good idea the other day, and this was his first chance to really look into it. Well, he thought it was a good idea, though others might think otherwise. Since he didn't care what anyone else really thought about it, he was going to pursue it.
Besides, making a cradle shouldn't really be that difficult. He was good with his hands and charms, so he just had to find instructions and buy supplies, which he'd done that morning. He'd originally thought about trying to make a rocking chair, but he'd quickly decided there was less chance of failure with a cradle. Now, though, it was almost time to get to school and become Professor. Not until after lunch with Percy, of course.
He arrived at the Three Broomsticks a little early and got a pint from the bar before he found them a table. One wouldn't hurt, but he'd stop after that just so Minerva wouldn't think he was drinking on the job or something. After he sat down, he stretched out and kept an eye on the door, waiting for Percy to show up, likely right on time in that annoyingly punctual way of his.
