She looked at the stack of books and parchment contendely.   She was actually caught up, even ahead in a couple of subjects.   It was probably not something that would be wise to advertise, but she actually had enjoyed it; was enjoying the load.  She was used to doing revisions on her own, and she had accomplished a lot.

Maybe it was because she was finally taking only subjects she liked or had an interest in.  Or maybe, and more likely she reflected, that after a year in hiding and not being able to do anything other worry and fear, she was finding it a joy to be productive, in any sense.  Either that, or she was just one truly sick individual.

Of course there were still areas she needed to work on, like being more outgoing, and that wasn't going to happen if she stayed in the library.   Grabbing a few books on Herbology and general Gardening, she checked them out before heading back to the tower.  On her way up the stairs she mused that maybe Ginny, Demelza and Luna might like to revise with her as well, if they didn't belong to one of the groups already organized.  Reaching the portrait hole, she climbed inside, grinning as she looked around.

Happily, and amazingly, her sofa was empty.  Her sofa, she had to laugh at that,  She was getting as bad as Seamus.  Just because she had charmed it to be more presentable didn't make it hers.  She still wondered if the Headmistress knew.

Kicking her shoes off and tucking her legs under her, she pulled some Muggle gardening magazines out of her bag that her mother had sent her, along with the tin of Lemon Bars and settled in.
