After apparating into Hogsmeade, Morag walked quickly through the village, trying to take in any changes from when she'd last been there without really taking the time to do so. She had only just returned that morning, but was already impatient to see a friendly face. Her family was welcoming and happy she was back, but things were a little strained; she was still a bit unhappy with them for sending her away to her great aunt's, and they realized that.
She turned on to Hornbeam Court, and found number 27. As she climbed the stairs to second floor, she began to worry a little. She should have owled ahead. What if Mandy wasn't at home? What if she already had company, or had other plans for the afternoon? She shook her head as she stopped in front of the door marked as 2B. She fidgeted a little, tucked the box of chocolates she'd brought with her under her arm, raised her hand, and knocked. She really hoped Mandy was home.
