Cho and Stephen left South Vinewood and arrived at Utopia shortly before seven. Stephen spotted Angelina first and they made their way over to where she was sitting near the billiard tables. Cho smiled as she gave Angelina a quick hug.

"Hey, Ang. Getting together tonight was a great idea. Definitely a nice way to relax at the end of the week." She was in the mood to have some fun and a casual gathering sounded perfect.

Angelina hugged Cho. "Hey you," she said. Then she smiled at Stephen. "Glad you two could come. I think it's going to be a fun night for all. I think we need it, yeah?"

She pointed to the baskets on the table. "Help yourself. I got us some starters."

Cho nodded, "It's been a busy week at Mungo's. It was nice being able to look forward to this at the end of the work week."

She grinned up at Stephen when Angelina offered them some of the appetizers. "I can always eat." She helped herself to one of the chips, "Thanks, Ang."

Stephen smiled and said hello to Angelina. Cho had invited him earlier in the week to this Friday night get-together, but after his week, he wasn't exactly looking forward to being social.

However, being with Cho always comforted him, and he felt he needed to be with her. Even though she'd come over after one of the worst days he could remember having in a long time, he felt he owed her a night of fun. He just hoped he wouldn't ruin her night instead.

"Thanks," he said to Angelina. "Want me to get us some drinks?" he asked Cho.

Alicia headed into Utopia, smiling as she let the door fall shut behind her. Angelina and Dean had definitely come up with a brilliant plan; it had been too long since they'd all gotten together like this.

Al had been eager to get started so she rushed a bit, shortening her usual flying time after work and only stopping back at home for a quick shower and to change into a skirt and different top, digging in the back of her closet for something other than Quidditch gear and work appropriate trousers and sweaters. She'd gone with flats for a change; ever since she'd started running every day, wearing heels had become increasingly difficult. But she thought they were still decent enough for dancing.

She glanced around. Didn't look like there were too many people yet, but she thought she caught a glimpse of Angelina chatting with a few other people. Alicia smiled and gave a quick wave before heading over to the bar to order a drink.

Dean waved to Angelina as he came into Utopia, but she was talking to Cho and Stephen, and he didn't want to interrupt. It had been a long day anyway, and he really wanted a drink. He called for a pint of ale, leaning against the bar, and it took him a second to realise that he knew the woman standing next to him.

"Alicia, hi," he said, smiling. Dean didn't think they'd actually spoken since he'd broken up with Katie, but he figured Angelina probably would have mentioned it if there were any particular issues to be worried about. Still, it was a bit strange. "How have you been? It's been awhile."

"Dean Thomas," Alicia said, turning to face him as she sipped her butterbeer. "My eyes must deceive me. It's really has been awhile, stranger," she said, smiling as she pulled him into a loose hug in greeting, not realising until she'd already done it that he might consider it odd, given the whole mess with him and Katie. But Alicia was determined to keep things between the two of them normal, and that including acting just as she normally would.

"I've been fine," she told him, stepping back and taking another sip. "Just teaching, running, and flying." She rolled her eyes at herself. "Not much different than the girl you knew at Hogwarts, I'd imagine."

"But how've you been?" she asked curiously. "What're you up to these days?"

He'd expected friendliness from Alicia, but the little hug was a nice surprise. Of course, it was just the sort of girl she was, but he was still glad she didn't seem uncomfortable.

"Except a lot less scary," Dean said, chuckling. "You girls huddled in a corner in the common room and laughing about Merlin-knows-what...I think I rather prefer the post-Hogwarts version."

He thanked the bartender for his drink, taking a long drink before saying, "Working a lot," He gestured to the pub around them. "Whole reason for tonight, really. But I've been pretty good."

After changing out of his work robes and pulling on a jacket, Terry went next door to pick Lisa up so they could go to Utopia. The week since the Autumn Ball had been busy; he'd gone on a reversal on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, and spent the other days doing the paperwork for each case and finishing up a couple of old cases. Now he was looking forward to unwinding with a big group of friends. He was glad Angelina had organised this get-together.

"Hope the pub isn't too crowded tonight," he said as he and Lisa entered. Being a Friday night, though, that wasn't very likely. Looking around, he saw Angelina, Cho, Alicia and Dean.

"But that's half the fun," Lisa said, grinning as she and Terry walked into Utopia. There were already quite a few friends gathered, and that made her smile even more. "The more people I can beat at billiards, the better, yeah?"

She looked over at him. "Hungry? I think I could use some chilli and cheese chips."

He should have known Lisa would start eyeing the billiards table the moment they walked into Utopia. "For you, maybe. But you're a billiards shark, Turpin." At least some of the others knew what they'd be getting into if they played against her. "Maybe we can team up and you can save my arse."

He nodded. "Hungry enough. That sounds great." Going up to the bar, he asked for two beers and a large basket of chili and cheese chips. "Why don't you join the group?" he told her. "I'll wait for our food and drinks."

"What are mates for?" she said, grinning at the idea of playing a bit with him. It had been awhile since she'd had a good game, and doubling up with Terry sounded like fun.

"All right, thanks." Lisa kissed him on the cheek and made her way over to where her other friends were gathering.

Ginny looked around the bar and saw some of her friends already gathered. She waved to Terry and Lisa, who she saw on a fairly regular basis these days since they all worked in the same department. Then she ordered a pint at the bar. She was glad that Lisa had told her about the party, and she was happy to have a night out for fun.

Ron had invited Eloise to go with him to Utopia. He wasn't sure if they were officially going out, but they'd had a great time at the Autumn Ball and they'd even hung out a bit during the past week. He'd invited Eloise to his flat for dinner Tuesday night and managed not to poison her, and he'd been glad when she accepted his invitation to come with him tonight.

Entering the pub with Eloise, he noticed his sister standing at the bar, apparently waiting for a pint.

"Hey, Gin," he said, giving her a quick hug. "Nice to see you again so soon. How're things going?"

'Hey," Ginny said, turning around and hugging Ron. She smiled at Eloise. "Hey, Eloise. How're you two?"

She lifted her pint and took a drink. "I'm doing fairly well. Glad it's Friday. Play you at darts later, yeah?"

She smiled and waved to Ginny. "Hey. Pretty good, how about you?"

Eloise had been pleasantly surprised that Ron had taken the initiative and invited her over for not only dinner this week, but to this get together, as well. They hadn't really talked about anything, but it was nice to just hang out. And the snogging was a nice bonus.

Stephen went up to the bar to get drinks for him and Cho. He leaned against the counter and sighed. He needed to try and relax a bit. He needed to get his mind clear and not be so focused on negative things. He still felt unsettled, but maybe a good scotch would set him right again. Or maybe it wouldn't.
