It's Time I Write SOMETHING
It has been a really long time since I posted anything. I think it's hard to find something interesting to write about when you're stressed. And this time of the school year just isn't easy. The kids can be so irritating - to each other and me. But I'm going to try to think of something to share.
Ummm...I have a scrape on my face where I got hit by a rubber disc that the kids thought was a frisbee but was not. I was looking down at a student's paper while we were in the gym for recess and didn't see it coming. I'm just glad it didn't give me a huge bruise like I thought it might. It really hurt.
Let's see...the kids' final reports are due tomorrow. They should actually be easier to grade than their first drafts, since ideally they would have fixed everything I told them to fix. Still, a lot of report-reading is in store for me this weekend.
And finally...the elders and board of ed. treated the teachers to lunch today. We had Olive Garden delivered. They also bought breadsticks for the whole school. It was tasty.
