Music
The MP3 conversion project continues -- I've converted over 400 CDs at this point. The fun part is that I'm rediscovering a lot of music I haven't listened to in ages. Like anyone else, I tend to get in a rut, so it's nice to have myself kicked out of it. Recent: Oysterband (it's their "history" album, and there's a cut with June Tabor titled "Mississippi" that is a total knock-out), Asia (an earworm -- "Prayin' 4 a Miracle"), Amoeba (strange, fascinating stuff), Pet Shop Boys (haven't listened to them in ages), Skinny Puppy, Arvo Pärt (another one I haven't listened to in ages, although I spent one entire summer lying on the beach and listening to the "Passio" back when -- according to Media Player, I have 8.3 hours of his music).
