The weather is so perfect today.  Why am I on the computer???   I don't even have a good answer for that.

So this week and next week the school are administering the Maryland School Assessment Tests.  I get to proctor a 4th grade class, which means that I walk around the desks very slowly and make sure kids are working on the correct section.  It's

I can sympathize with the Facebook drama. I've had friend requests from both parents sitting in my FB inbox for months; I'd already told them I had a strict "no parent" policy for my FB (though I get guilt-tripped about that by my mom because I have accepted friend requests from aunts and uncles), but I can't quite bring myself to click the "ignore" button because I might change my mind about it at some point. Meanwhile, my dad's older cousin (who's more like a great aunt to me) also sent me a friend request, which I also haven't answered for similar reasons; recently she sent me a friendly but guilt-tripping message about how we should be FB friends, so that she can show my grandfather what I've been up to when she visits him. Conundrum.

My dad is fairly active on facebook. My mom joined just so she could see the pictures I posted. (and she plays bejeweled!) I understand the stress about it.
